Calco H is probably a male.
The body was found on the stairs 54-55 of VII.16.22 the House of Fabius Rufus in November 1961.
According to the excavation diary on the 1st of December 1961 was reported the finding of:
A single flame bronze lamp with a handle terminated in the head of a small sea horse (inv. 13430).
A small silver ring (inv. 13431).
These were reported as objects found "under the bodies of which the
casts were obtained at the time".

According to Carlo Giordano, the cast was the most successful and dramatic of the three found on the staircase of the house.
The cast was stolen from the Casa di Marco Fabio Rufo on the night between
28 and 29 August 1966.
If the cast is to
be identified with cast 84, after 1966 it had to have been found and taken to
the Casa dei Quattro Stili.
It is possible that this cast can be identified with n. 84, which represents only a surviving part.
The similarity with Cast H is found in the poor anatomical accuracy (like nos. 48-49), in the posture of legs and arms bent and extended forward, and could be deduced from the poor outcome of the face of cast no. 84, in particular the unformed left half and which, in this case, would have had the calf of victim no. 48 resting on it.

Four people met their death in this house, three of them died huddled together on this staircase.
They were discovered in November 1961. It was possible to make casts of the group of three.
A copy of the plaster cast of the lowest of the three bodies remains where it was discovered.
The fourth skeleton was lying on the landing at the bottom of the stairs but only a photo remains of this skeleton.
